Every year HRWC sponsors an environmental awareness event - Suds on the River - for the entir watershed community. We bring together the microbreweries of the Huron River Watershed to say that the reason that these award winning microbrews are so good is the Huron River water!

Locally-brewed beers and brew masters from Arbor Brewing, Grizzly Peak, Jolly Pumpkin and Wolverine have the opportunity to visit with friends who care about water and guests have the chance to learn more about great local microbrews of the watershed.

Over 150 people joined us on the river for this year's SUDS and featured food from many of Ann Arbor's favorite establishments: Anthony's Gourmet Pizza, Bennigan's, Cafe Habana, Jerusalem Garden, Morgan & York, No Thai!, Pacific Rim, Prickly Pear, People's Food Co-op, Tios, Tuptim Thai Cuisine, Whole Foods Market, and Zanzibar.

GREAT LAKES MYTH SOCIETY, a Michigan-based northern rock collective appeared again at this years's SUDS.
